Norman Pearce won
Silver for his beer 'Dark & Delicous' in the SIBA National
Beer Competition 2009 which was held this year in Stratford
upon Avon.

Norman
Pearce of the Corvedale Brewery won a Gold for Dark and
Delicious and a Silver for Katies Pride in the SIBA (Society
of Independent Brewers) Wales and West Beer competition which
was held at The Barrels pub in Hereford on Friday 22nd of
August. It was a tough competition with 85 Real ales
being judge in their different classes.

Over the years we have won many prizes
for our food and drink, but one award that we are very proud
of is the E.A.S.E award (Ease of Access to Service and
Employment). We faced stiff competition as the other two
finalists where TJ Weatherspoons and Brewers Fayre who as you
know are multi million pound companies. The pub has no
steps and can be accessed by wheelchair throughout and help is
always at hand if needed.
